| Our grottro is hosting the 2009 Rocky Mountain Regional to be held on Columbus day weekend 2009 (October 9-12) It will be held at the Sand Gulch BLM Campground located south of Canon City. Directions: from Hwy50 take raynolds south. follow curve to left, and turn right on Field ave. In app. 3 miles Field ave turns minto Red Canyon Rd. Follow this road approx 10 miles to Sand Gulch Campground on left. If you reach "shelf Road" you've gone too far. The event was planned for the royal view campground, but due to lack of participation and reservations, the regional has been scaled back to an informal camping/caving weekend |
