Porcupine Cave
After some minor confusion locating the cave (Warren, I told
you we were in the right place the first time!!) We found the
cave and made the hike to the entrance. We spent about 4
and a half hours underground exploring every passage we
could find. There were many beautiful domes to look at as
well as some nice gypsum crystals.. All in all it was a great
trip
Breezeway Cave
We had a great trip into Breezeway Cave in Williams
Canyon. Our trip was lead by Mike Frazier. It was the most
spectacularly decorated cave I have ever been in. There
was a lot of tight crawling, and wriggling around the delicate
formations, but it was a very rewarding trip. We got to see
the Tesla Coil Beaded Helectite formation in the Elkhorn
Chamber. It is reknown as the largest deposit of this rare
type of formation in the world! The photos from this
spectacular trip are available on the photo page.
